The AVS RS380 is installed with 4 ultrasonic sensors for the back bumper and the distance between the rear bumper of your vehicle and any obstacle is indicated with escalating audible warning tones. The alarm warning tones begin when within 1.5 metres of any obstacle.

The AVS RS390 is installed with 4 ultrasonic sensors for the back bumper and 2 for the the front bumper. The distance between the bumpers of the vehicle and any obstacle is indicated with escalating audible warning tones within 1.5 metres of any obstacle. It automatically detects objects behind you when you are reversing and comes with a switch so you can turn the front sensors on as needed when parking.

The visual display indicates both the distance and direction of the obstacle in relation to the rear of the car (i.e- left or right).
