The Watchguard SMS multi-use alarm is a true revolution in monitored home and mobile security systems. It has been designed for simple DIY installation and maximum protection at an affordable price.

The alarm can be used in any number of ways - to protect your caravan, caravan, boat or holiday home - and to secure building sites, containers and more. The Watchguard SMS alarm will go anywhere where a portable, self-monitored alarm is required as it doesn't need a land line to work.

It can also be self-monitored so you don't need to pay a monitoring company. Using the latest in GSM technology the Watchguard SMS alarm communicates to your mobile phone via the Vodafone network. All you need to do is add a Vodafone pre-paid SIM card for 2-way communication via TXT between you and your alarm. That means you'll get a TXT on an alarm trigger plus you can arm/disarm by TXT and much more. And the only ongoing costs are the TXT sent to your phone by the SIM card (charged at normal Vodafone pre-pay rates).

The Watchguard SMS alarm is easy to install - in fact, you can do it yourself. And with up to 8 wireless zones the alarm can be customised to suit its location.

How the alarm works:

Plug and play set-up:

Security has never been so easy to install. Simply mount the movement detectors in the areas you want to be monitored and mount the external siren in a prominent position. Then, plug the alarm module into a power pack or connect to 12V DC, turn the power key on and you're ready to go!

Arm the alarm:

Use your remote control (or TXT) to arm the Watchguard SMS alarm to secure your premises. When body movement is detected, the sensors will send a message to the alarm module.

8 zone alarm module with built in GSM modem:

This is the "brain" of the system. When it receives the message from the wireless movement sensors, it automatically sends your mobile phone an alarm trigger TXT. The internal siren will also sound, helping repel the intruder.

Alarm notification:

The Watchguard SMS alarm module communicates to your mobile phone via GSM. When triggered, the module sends a detailed TXT of the reported alarm to your designated mobile(s). Up to 5 people can be notified.

Plus:

The Watchguard SMS alarm can be armed and disarmed by TXT and also has the ability to turn on accessories such as bilge pumps or running lights by TXT.

All wireless sensors include smart power saving technology allowing up to 3 years battery life. The sensors are fully supervised - if a sensor fails to communicate with the controller or is tampered with you will be notified by text message.
